I bought 3 Auras, and they are awesome, but i was surprised by the inability of riding them in PAS 1 ! the jump right to 25km/h in any PAS, there no smooth ride just boost to top speed! only way to control is braking all the time otherwise i or my family bumps in each other in trails or paths!
This is not possible to say its just bad luck , the three Auras all have this behavior, and the Torque mode is basically the same!
what kind of power management is this?
How to fix this firmware glitch!!! in all previous Bikes, PAS 1/2/3/4/5 gives increment of power cruise speed… in this Aura is basically a BERSERK MODE !

Thanks for the detailed report, and glad you’re enjoying the Auras otherwise. You’re right that PAS 1 shouldn’t push you straight to 25 km/h. The levels are meant to feel clearly different, especially on shared trails with family.
We’ve passed this to our engineering team and are looking into it now. To help us pin it down faster, could you share:

A photo of the display’s settings/info screen (showing the firmware version, if available)

it so dangerous!!!
i need to be able to correct this absurd power management…( or i will spend trips braking all the time to prevent going against anyone in front of me in the group… below 25km/h ( in torque mode does the same…!)

To clarify: the Aura is tuned as an off-road-oriented e-bike. The PAS mapping is set so that power and speed come in quickly when you pedal — this is intentional for off-road riding where you need immediate torque to get through hills, loose gravel, and trails.
We previously ran a 5-level PAS with per-level current limiting, but based on rider feedback we found most off-road users wanted the power to build faster rather than feeling layered, so we moved to the current calibration. That’s why PAS 1 feels stronger on the Aura than on our city/commuter models — it’s a different use case, not a fault.
If you would prefer a softer, more progressive assist curve (more like a commuter tuning), we can swap the controller back to the older calibration.
Alternatively, if you want a smoother, more controlled start, you may also consider installing a throttle — it lets you pull away gently and steadily without the PAS kicking in abruptly.
