Hello fellow e-bike enthusiasts,

I read an interesting article about the cost of charging an e-bike.

The article, titled “E-Bike aufladen: Wie teuer ist das eigentlich?” (E-Bike Charging: How much does it actually cost?), sheds light on the varying costs associated with charging an e-bike. The cost, as it turns out, largely depends on the size of the bike’s battery. The larger the capacity, the higher the charging cost.

Interestingly, the article mentions a range of costs from as low as 22 cents to as high as 12.20 Euros.

Moreover, the article provides a brief overview of the e-bike market, stating that the average price paid for an e-bike in 2023 was nearly 3,000 Euros. These bikes offer powerful assistance to the rider, easily accelerating up to 25 km/h, and even up to 45 km/h in higher construction classes (though these require a license plate).

So, this got me thinking and I wanted to get your input:

Hi Everyone,
Fortunately I have solar panels so it’s great owing and using my Cyrusher when the sun shines.

It all adds up when you have 2 bikes in the family it’s making the most of renewable energy and saves taking the car and paying for parking when running around locally, we use bridleways, cycle paths and trails where we can’t take a car.
That’s the best thing about having a Cyrusher e-bike
