Throttle not responding

Hello yall,

love my Cyrusher Ranger.
I just replaced the handle with a throttle.

  • plugged it in
  • turned the bike on
  • if I use the throttle it shows E4 error and it does not work
  • I left it turned on, unplugged it, and plugged it back in
    now the wheel starts turning without twisting the throttle
  • I can use it by clicking the levels up between 1 till 5

Any advice?

hello, E4 error indicates a problem with the throttle. Here are the steps to troubleshoot:

  1. Non-Cyrusher Brand Throttle: If the throttle is not from Cyrusher, there might be a compatibility issue.

  2. Cyrusher Brand Throttle: If the throttle is from Cyrusher, check if the throttle cable is damaged. As shown in the picture (Twist throttle), the yellow connector is the throttle cable. The bike also uses a throttle cable with a similar yellow connector. Inspect both connectors for any breakage, clean them, and reconnect them to see if they return to normal operation.

Hello and thank you for your reply!
We use original throttles.
I tried both throttles since we have the Trax and the Ranger.
On both throttles, the same error is present until I disconnect while Online and reconnect the cable.
Then the bike starts rolling without using the throttle.
